I have been obsessed with sewing lately. It’s become my new creative outlet! I spent quite a bit of time hunting down some free sewing patterns for shirts that are actually quite stylish and ones that I can’t wait to make! While I love supporting other makers, it is nice to have a quick simple project that’s free from time to time!
Here is a collection of some of my favorites that I found that appear to be relatively easy without sacrificing style. They’re all a bit different yet timeless looks. I’m bookmarking/sharing with you here with the intention that I’d like to try them soon! Enjoy!
Sarah Kirsten makes absolutely beautiful sewing projects, and this top seems to be relatively quick and easy to make. If you’re a beginner, this is a great project to start with. You wont get overwhelmed and you’ll have a super cute top to wear.
Another relatively simple pattern, I can imagine all of the cutest patterned fabric could be used to sew this one! This one apparently only takes about an hour to make.
This blouse looks so comfy to wear. It’s recommended to use cotton or linen to sew this one. You can download and print off the pattern at Peppermint Mag.
I haven’t ventured into sewing knit fabrics yet, but I love a good t-shirt. This boyfriend style tee is apparently beginner friendly to make and the pattern sizes range from XS-5XL.
The pleating on the neckline of this linen tee is just too good! Another simple but elegant design that would pair well with a ton of different outfits. This patter is available at Fabric Store where you can download it and also purchase affordable fabric to make it.
I’m really looking forward to trying my hand at all of these free sewing patterns!
