FREE Easter Book for Children

Spread the love

I have a very special subscriber freebie for you today. My husband and I went to see a wonderful movie titled “Son of God” (it’s a great movie by the way) and I was so inspired I decided to write a children’s book – “The True Meaning of Easter”.

FREE Easter Book for Children

My book is intended for young children and is based on a Christian world view. If you’ve been following my blog for very long, then you know I have two young children. I wanted to create a resource that would help me tell the Easter story as well as put together some activities for my two little ones to emphasize the fun and true meaning of the Easter holiday.

The book is 38 pages and the main emphasis is God’s love for us. I use the analogy of planting a seed and caring for it. In the same way, we need to plant God’s love in our hearts and nurture His love to help it grow. I thought this was the perfect analogy for spring!

I printed our copy of “The True Meaning of Easter” book on heavy white card stock and laminated it. Using the top two hole-punching posts of a 3-ring-hole-punch, I made two holes near the top and middle of the pages and then used loose binder rings to bind the pages together.

Our finished book, “The True Meaning of Easter” looks like this:

You’ll notice in the top photograph that there are a bunch of fun things I’ve created to go along with the book. All of these printables are created with the objective of keeping the true meaning of Easter in activities like Easter egg hunts and other fun stuff for Easter.

If you are looking for a movie that depicts the true meaning of Easter, I highly recommend the movie ‘The Son of God”. The movie also promotes my absolute favorite charity – Compassion International. If you’d like to learn more about Compassion, please find the banner for Compassion on my sidebar. Click the image and learn more about this wonderful charity that helps impoverished children and families all over the world. For more information about the movie and to purchase tickets (NOT an affiliate link) go to: Son of God Movie.
