Perfect Brownies {For that Chocolate ‘Fix’}

Ok. I. inhale brownies. like these.  Let me enlighten you about these chocolatey, moist, chewy, fudgy, dense Perfect Brownies that pretty much just rock and rule my world.
I bet they could rule your world too, after one itty, bitty bite.  That itty, bitty bite would quickly transform into one gigantic inhale, like Jaws, and so on and so forth.
(Just a little heads-up, from a  person who’s had plenty of experience and could teach “Brownie Inhaling 101”.)

Guess what? 

Brownies are one of my all time favorite chocolate desserts.  I have been known to bake multiple pans of brownies weekly and polish them off like it was nobody’s business.
I. inhale. brownies. like. these.

I can think of nothing better than brownies, when you want that perfect chocolate ‘fix’.  That’s why we have these Perfect Brownies to bake over and over and over!  Yay!

Take it up a notch, by adding 1 cup of dark chocolate chips, and ½ cup walnuts.  Those would be deemed Perfect Deep Dark Heavenly Brownies! 🙂 

So…Here’s the recipe, if you are a chocoholic like me, or know one or two besties, that would really enjoy home-baked Perfect Brownies just because you are the sweetest person on earth, just ‘Bake ’em up’!

  • ¾ cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract or use chocolate extract for extra chocolate boost
  • 3 eggs
  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder Optional: Add 2 more Tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder for more dark chocolate flavor
  • ½ teaspoon salt



  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Line a 9×13 pan with parchment paper for easy removal and spray with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Whisk together the melted butter, sugar and vanilla in a large bowl, then beat in eggs one at a time, set aside. Add vanilla, chocolate or coffee extract for extra flavor boost.
  • In another bowl, whisk or stir together the flour, cocoa and salt. Gradually blend flour mixture into the wet mixture and stir until incorporated. Batter will be thick.
  • Spread the batter into the prepared pan.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 20 to 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with crumbs, not wet. Cool on wire rack.
  • Let brownies cool, then cut into squares.


For thicker brownies, you can use an 9×9 inch pan, but bake an extra 15-20 minutes or so.

For more depth in chocolate add some coffee extract, coffee powder, fresh brewed coffee or coffee liquer.
